Lasting emotional stability comes from depending on God rather than expecting other people to meet every need.
Ripple One: Practical
Today, I will notice where I am looking to others for approval, security, or validation. People can encourage and support me, but they cannot carry the weight that belongs to God. Peace grows when my expectations become realistic.
Ripple Two: Spiritual
As I depend on God rather than human approval, the Holy Spirit reminds me that true stability is found in His presence. The Father is the source of the love and security I need most, and Jesus shows me what it looks like to trust God completely.
Prayer
Father God, help me place my trust in You rather than in the opinions of others. Through Your Holy Spirit, give me the peace that comes from depending on You. Shape my life through the example of Jesus. Amen.
