The Stone
Sometimes the greatest harm is not what I did, but what I failed to do.
Ripple One: Practical
Today, I will consider where I have withdrawn from people who needed my presence, attention, or care. Neglect can wound as deeply as harsh words or harmful actions. Growth begins when I honestly acknowledge both my actions and my omissions.
Ripple Two: Spiritual
As I recognize where I have pulled away from others, the Holy Spirit guides me toward honesty, reconciliation, and renewed connection. The Father created me for relationship, not isolation, and Jesus showed up for people consistently, offering His presence as well as His words.
Prayer
Father God, help me see where my absence has caused harm. Through Your Holy Spirit, give me the courage to repair broken connections and the willingness to be present for others. Shape my life through the example of Jesus, and teach me to love people well. Amen.
