The Stone
I once thought freedom meant doing whatever I wanted. Then I learned that true freedom is the ability to choose what gives life. Recovery is built on invitation, not coercion—and love grows best where there is no force.
Ripple One: Practical
Today, I will remember that I am choosing this path. No one is forcing me to grow, to stay sober, or to live differently. I will embrace the dignity of choice and take responsibility for how I use it.
Ripple Two: Spiritual
When I freely surrender to God, He forms mature freedom in me. Not the freedom of indulgence, but the freedom of love, restraint, and purpose. Over time, I discover that grace never compels—it invites. And in that invitation, real transformation takes root.
Prayer
Holy God, teach me to use my freedom well. Guard me from returning to old definitions of liberty, and shape my life into something rooted in love and guided by Your grace. Amen.
