The Stone
Spiritual life begins with a step—but it doesn’t end there. Growth in depth, clarity, and usefulness unfolds slowly. It is not dramatic or instant. It is lifelong.
Ripple One: Practical
Today, I will notice what I’m feeding. If I nourish resentment, fear, or selfish ambition, that’s what grows. If I practice patience, honesty, kindness, and restraint, those take root. I cannot grow spiritually while living carelessly. Small daily choices shape the direction of my inner life.
Ripple Two: Spiritual
When I turn toward what is lasting instead of what is immediate, God forms character in me. Love deepens. Joy steadies. Self-control strengthens. Over time, I learn that spiritual growth is not about perfection—it is about continued surrender and steady progress.
Prayer
God, grow what is good within me today. Remove what blocks Your work, and shape my life through patience, love, and faithful obedience. Amen.
