The Stone
Intelligence is a gift, but it cannot restore me to sanity.
Ripple One: Practical
Today, I will remember that thinking alone has never solved my deeper problems. Being smart did not protect me from illness or fear, and it cannot replace the practices that keep me steady. Intelligence is useful, but it is only one tool. Recovery asks for willingness, humility, and action, not just insight.
Ripple Two: Spiritual
Sanity is restored through a power greater than my own thinking. When I stop relying on intellect as my primary defense, space opens for trust and guidance. God works where cleverness falls short. Faith grows when I accept that my mind is a gift, not a substitute for surrender.
Prayer
God, help me use my mind wisely without leaning on it alone. Teach me to trust a greater source of sanity and strength. Keep me humble and open to Your guidance. Amen.
