Super Eagles return to Lagos ahead of Lesotho clash

Super Eagles are back to the country after Saturday’s energy sapping encounter with their counterparts from Benin Republic in the Africa Cup of Nations.

The victory over neighbouring Benin and the barren draw between Lesotho and Sierra Leone ensure Nigeria’s qualification to the premier African football showpiece set to take place in Cameroon next year.

With the return of the team, the technical staff led by Coach Gernot Rohr has begun arrangements to confront the Crocodiles of Lesotho on Tuesday.

The team left Porto-Novo on Sunday morning through the Lagos State Waterways Authority boat with more than four vessels spotted conveying them.

The 2013 African champions will head for the Eko Hotel and Suites hotel and resume preparations in earnest for Tuesday’s fixture against Lesotho.
