Members of the controversial Fulani livestock breeding organisation, Miyetti Allah Kota Kore have joined the call on President Muhammadu Buhari to declare bandits operating in several parts of the country as terrorists.
The call was made by the Bauchi State chairman, Alhaji Sadik Ibrahim Ahmad, who spoke to newsmen said: ” As far as I am concerned, the nail must be hit on the head, who are the terrorists? Terrorists are people who try to destroy legitimate activities of society, they are not productive.
“If the FG is serious, they should do the needful and provide a lasting solution to incessant killings by the so-called bandits.”
Ahmad’s call is coming on the heels of the murder of Kaduna State chapter of the organisation by bandits recently after payment of N20m ransom to bandits who had kidnapped him from his residence.
The group’s call is the latest from prominent leaders and institutions across the country which the president is unwilling to do,
On Friday, the Federal House of Representatives had given President Buhari 24 hours which is yet to expire.
