Large crowd, Nollywood colleagues throng Ikorodu as Baba Suwe is laid to rest

Large crowd of sympathizers as well as colleagues on Thursday thronged the Ikorodu, Lagos home of late veteran comic Actor, Alhaji Nurudeen Babatunde Omidina popularly known as Baba Suwe was laid to rest.

It was a very difficult task for family members and security agents to control the horde of sympathizers that came in droves to catch a glimpse of the body of the legendary actor, whose remains were on Thursday committed to mother earth.

Led by a popular Muslim cleric, Sheik Ahmad Olanrewaju AlFulany, faithful as early as 9 am began arriving at the residence of the late icon and the necessary Jannazar prayers were observed on his corpse before being committed to mother earth around 11:05 am.

Adesola Omidina, the late comic actor’s son, his mother, Yewande joined other Nollywood stars such as Adebayo Salami, popularly called Oga Bello, Sunday Omobolanle (Pappy Luwe) Fausat Balogun (Madam Saje) and others to attend the burial rites.

Many well-wishers And sympathisers could not hold back tears when they arrived Baba Suwe’s residence to condole with his family.
