I don’t feel bad, I knew EFCC would do a thorough job, says Obi Cubana

Nigerian socialite Obi Iyiegbu popularly known as Obi Cubana has opened up on his grilling with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) over links with drug dealers.

In a media interview monitored by DAILY RIPPLES on Saturday, Cubana who stated that he harboured no ill-feeling towards the agency knowing fully well that it operatives would do a thorough job.

The businessman was recently grilled by NDLEA in Abuja over his alleged involvement in drug-related businesses in countries like Malaysia and India.

In an Instagram live session earlier today with media personality Daddy Freeze, the 46-year-old described his experience as repulsive.

Speaking on his time at the NDLEA office, Obi revealed that he spent 4 days and 3 nights in their detention but didn’t feel bad because he knew the agency would do a thorough job.

On the allegations levelled against him of receiving money from drug dealers, Obi Cubana said he can never do such as it negates his covenant with God.

He absolved the agency of witch hunting but frowned at his linking with drugs.

Obi said he has never felt so low in his life, adding that drug business is something he would never engage in as well as invest in. In the lengthy interview, he expressed confidence in being cleared at the end of the whole investigation as he maintained his innocence.
