The Stone
Growth is not merely about change—it is about responsibility. Real maturity shows itself when I stop asking to be applauded for doing what I should have been doing all along.
Ripple One: Practical
Today, I will choose the better action without seeking recognition. I will be slower to anger, quicker to listen, more consistent in kindness. I will not measure my obedience by immediate results or praise. The action itself is the reward.
Ripple Two: Spiritual
As I follow the example of Christ in quiet faithfulness, the Holy Spirit forms maturity in me. The Father shapes my character through steady obedience, not spotlight moments. Over time, growth becomes less dramatic but more durable—less about image and more about substance.
Prayer
Father, grow me into maturity. Through Your Spirit, teach me to act with humility and consistency, and shape my life to reflect the steady obedience of Your Son. Amen.
