The Stone
Freedom did not come when I learned to fight harder. It came when I stopped fighting altogether. Constant struggle fed my pride and exhaustion. Surrender brought relief.
Ripple One: Practical
Today, I will notice where I am still battling—trying to force change in people, outcomes, or even myself. I will ask whether acceptance is required, or whether quiet action is enough. I do not need to overpower everything to stay steady.
Ripple Two: Spiritual
When I stop striving and yield my will to Christ, He forms peace in me. The fight that once defined me begins to dissolve. Over time, surrender replaces resistance, and I discover that true strength is not in winning—but in trusting.
Prayer
Jesus, teach me to lay down the fight. Help me accept what I cannot change and move faithfully where You lead. Form in me the peace that comes from surrender. Amen.
