The Stone
I am rescued not by self-mastery, but by surrender. Real freedom begins when I stop insisting on control and become willing to accept help.
Ripple One: Practical
Today, I will notice where pride or fear keeps me isolated. When I feel the urge to prove I can handle everything alone, I will pause. I do not need to dominate my circumstances to survive them. Accepting guidance and taking suggestions is not weakness. It is a practical step toward sanity.
Ripple Two: Spiritual
Surrender opens space for grace. When I release the need to be the final authority over my life, God and others can meet me there. Help arrives when I am willing to listen and receive, not when I am fighting to preserve control. This willingness is often how I am rescued.
Prayer
God, help me loosen my grip today. Give me humility to accept help and courage to follow guidance beyond myself. Lead me into freedom through surrender. Amen.
