Nollywood actress, Remi Surutu, Fathia Balogun exchange blows

Two popular Nollywood actresses in the Yoruba genre, Fathia Balogun and a much older colleague, Remi Surutu recently exchanged blows at a party.

An Eye witness account stated that guests who thronged a lavish burial ceremony organized by a UK based celebrity, Mr. Bamidele Omosehin for his late father were aghast when the two top actresses put up a show of shame at the well attended party.

An eyewitness account revealed that that it the elderly Remi Surutu who went to Fathia Balogun’s table and gave her a dirty slap even though unprovoked.

It then became a mini pandemonium typical of their trade nicknamed ‘ija igboro’ before the two were separated and nerves calmed.

Sources hinted that Remi had been having grudges against Fathia on what she told her friends as Fathia’s disrespectful act, therefore looking for an avenue to bounce on her and ‘teach her’ lessons.

Other rumour mongers also added that Faithia may be romantically linked with the London-based celebrant whom Remi regards as her younger brother.

All attempts however to speak to the actresses were rebuffed as neither of them responded to calls and messages sent to them.
