NDLEA arrests former Lagos council boss with N145m cocaine

Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have arrested a former Local Government Council boss in Lagos, Mr. Kehinde Ashekun for drug trafficking.

The anti-drug agency arrested Asekun who was found in possession of one kilogramme of cocaine valued at N145 million at the Murtala Mohammed Airport.

A former vice-chairman of Lagos Island East Local Council Development Area was arrested last Friday while trying to board a Virgin Atlantic airline flight to London.
