Buhari’s son set to marry granddaughter of Bayero, late Kano emir

Barring unforeseen circumstances, Yusuf, the only son of President Muhammadu Buhari is set to tie the nuptial knot with his lover, Miss Zahra Bayero.

The bride is a Kano princess being a granddaughter of a former Emir of Kano, late Alhaji Ado Bayero.

She is also the daughter of current Emir of Bichi in Kano State, Alhaji Nasir Ado Bayero and sources say that the wedding ceremony will take place “in the next two to three months”.

According to sources, “Preparations are on top gear for the grand event. As the tradition provides, the parents of the groom have met with the parents of the bride to express Yusuf’s interest in marrying Zahra”.

It was also reported that the event would have taken place earlier but for the absence of the groom’s mother, Aisha Buhari, who recently returned from a six-month medical trip in Dubai.

“Now that his mother returned a few weeks to Ramadan [Muslim holy month], it is clear the wedding will take place after Sallah holidays.” a source said.

Zahra is currently a bachelor’s student in the United Kingdom, studying architecture, while Yusuf is a 2016 graduate of the University of Surrey, Guildford, United Kingdom.

Bola Tinubu, who did not visit or donate even one kobo to victims of the Sasa market crisis, or to victims of the Ijesha market fire in Lagos (though his own daughter is the Iyaloja, i.e. head of market traders in Lagos), has today visited victims of the Katsina market fire and donated ₦50 million to them.

Obviously, Tinubu’s charity begins far from home. And this Chicago degree holder and his ilk are disrespecting Sunday Igboho, a wealthy man, who is willing to fight for the ordinary man, even at the risk of his wealth and health. Tinubu is a dealer. He is never a leader
