Buhari blames Covid 19 pandemic Nigeria’s economic hardship

President Muhammadu Buhari has blamed the economic hardships being faced by Nigerians on the prevailing Covid 19 pandemic.

This is coming just as he admits that the country is facing fiscal challenges despite five per cent economic growth in the country in the second quarter of 2021.

The president said this during a meeting with officials of the Nigeria Medical Association at the State House, on Friday, according to a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu.

The meeting was convened to employ ways of ending the current strike being embarked upon by members of the resident doctors in the country.
