APC governorship hopeful opens PDP aspirant’s campaign office in Lagos

A governorship aspirant in the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Jide Odediran on Saturday surprised many when he led members of his campaign team to officially declare open, the campaign secretariat of a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) House of Representative aspirant.

The development was culled from the official campaign website of the Odediran who is popularly called JANDOR by his followers, saying the development was aimed at fostering peace within the political space of Lagos.

The campaign office belongs to a PDP chieftain, Ms. Fateemah Mohammed who ran unsuccessfully to represent the people of Ifako-Ijaye Federal Constituency in Lagos in the last round of election.

Odediran is a youthful and influential member of the APC in Lagos who has been making waves in the last fear years having erected a potent and formidable campaign platform to ventilate his aspiration.

Commenting on the development in a post on his Facebook campaign page, Odediran wrote, “For long, we fight each other to the benefit of those who have been dividing us for decades, and now that we have decided to join forces, not minding our political party affiliations, they are crying fowl.”

Justifying his action further, he wrote, “If our Parties National Leaders can have relationship to the point of marrying their children to each other, what’s then wrong with us relating with each other at the grassroots now.”
